VAST protocol features Clickthrough element to define a URI to open as destination page when user clicks on the video.
EXAMPLE
If ClickThrough element is not defined for linear video ad, it will still load and play. Click over video will be default player action.
VAST-PRO plugin features another method for ClickThrough, which results in the same effect as seen on YouTube videos. Adding an attribute method=link to <ClickThrough> element will cause in display ad info in the bottom-left corner of the player, including clickable URI link.This custom method is not available to set by ad publisher. The publisher should not have rights to decide how the ad is presented. The example above uses this VAST protocol. Both ad pod videos make use of the custom ClickThough method. Second ad pod video ClickThrough info is associated with Vast Icon, just like you can often see on YouTube.
