Nuevo v 13.5.0 released

The new minor version 13.5.0 of the Nuevo software has been just released.

The major reason of the upgrade is WordPress plugin that many users asked about.

By default, WordPress can only load and play basic video formats (.mp4, .webm) and will play them using the browser's standard HTML5 player. The Nuevo plugin is a standard WordPress plugin that allows you to replace the default HTML5 player with the Video.js player with plugins and options by Nuevodevel.com. The dedicated WordPress settings page allows you to manage dozens of player options in an easy way. This section allows you to enable and use plugins like filters, hotkeys, Chromecast, and AirPlay. The advertising section allows you to set up and use one of four advertising plugins! Depending on the popularity, we will continue WordPress plugin development for even more advanced and more friendly use.

The WordPress plugin is free for new users and the Gold plan. Existing users may purchase it any time in the Client Area for € 20.00.

Another new, tiny plugin is the Banner Ad on video pause event. Just review the plugin and options on this dedicated demo page. The banner plugin is included in each of the three offered plans.

3. The settings menu now features a Sleep Timer option, similar to the YouTube player. O course, you can turn it off if it doesn't meet your requirements. The sleep timer operates in real time starting from the moment you set it. When it hits the timeout, the player will pause and a relevant message will show on the screen.

When a video ad was played via the Vroll plugin, the advertiser link was triggered whenever the user clicked anywhere on the video. The new choice features an advertiser button link rather than the full video window. It’s comparable, as you can observe on YouTube. The button is entirely customizable, allowing changes to button text, icon, background, and text color

The custom progress bar preview thumbnails option has been moved to a separate plugin. The rest of the plugin usage and possible options setup remains the same, so in fact the only difference is that you need to load the plugin's javascript file. The nuevo and thumbnails files can be combined into a single file.

As usual, multiple other enhancements and fixes have been implemented. The skins were improved for better menu navigation on touch devices.
