Major Nuevo software v 15 released

We are glad to announce that a new major version of the Nuevo Software was released, and it is ready to purchase or upgrade.

Version 15 includes a new cent skin (Gold plan) with centered navigation buttons. This is the 13th skin that we designed! The skin is available to review on Nuevodevel Skins' demo.

As per some users requests, we have prepared a new function to navigate to the next and previous video. Rewind and Forward buttons are replaced by new Previous and Next buttons. Video thumbnails are displayed when you hover buttons. If the previous video is not defined, the current video is replayed from the start when the Previous button clicked. Demo here.

The new Promo Icons plugin lets you promote multiple services by displaying expandable icons on the right edge of the player. You can have as many icons as the player's height allows. When you hover over a promotional icon or tap it on a touchscreen, it expands to display a clickable description of the service. Promo icons demo is available here.

Loops is another new plugin that allows you to define looping section in an easy way. The loop button allows you to create the start and end times of the loop section. The third click on the button cancels the loop. The loop section is marked on the progress bar. The markers can be dragged to new time positions. Try to set your own loop section on this demo.

The transcription plugin has been updated significantly. We have added support to read descriptions text tracks. Descriptions take priority. Once loaded, the description will be the content that the transcription plugin shows. If captions/subtitles are also loaded, the player will display them, but the transcription plugin will display descriptions. If multiple text tracks are loaded, it will be possible to switch between languages in the transcription plugin, regardless of the player's currently displaying subtitles. The shaka skin was slightly updated. The control bar icons now are displayed over a round background.
